We are now looking to extend the team with a My/SQL Developer that can help us continue what we started.

What is the project about

The project is a state-of-the-art lead management solution that increases a property’s leasing team efficiency by focusing on prioritization of quality leads, optimizing the property’s floor plan offering, and simplifying the leasing process—providing structure and insight into follow-up activities, with easy-to-navigate reporting that drives value across multiple areas of the organization. The responsive web design platform of the project is perfect for keeping busy leasing staff connected, responsive, and productive on tablet and mobile devices from remote locations like a home office.

Skills we are looking for:

  • 5+ years experience and in-depth knowledge of SQL including performance tuning and optimization;
  • Experience with building and modifying stored functions, creating tables and views;
  • Experienced in business requirements analysis;
  • Ability to perform DBA tasks if needed (Indexing, Query Tuning, Manage Database security etc.)
  • Able to propose Data Quality Indicators for the respective area;

 

Cherries on top:

  • Familiarity with complex databases and/or data warehouse and working experience with MySQL;
  • Working experience with AWS Aurora is big plus.
  • Knowledge of ETL process design and data flows optimization;
  • Working experience with Agile development principles and tools (such as TFS);
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git or SVN);
  • Fluent in English – verbal and written communications;
  • Ability to work with an international team of professionals.

What you will be doing:

  • Tune and optimize database performance and queries;
  • Give design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes;
  • Perform problem determination (root cause analysis) and document the source and proposed resolution;
  • Analyze logs and metrics to identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations;
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes;
  • Investigate and Resolve issues on Dev & Production environments;
  • Generate reports based on the collected data;
  • Assist with creating and maintaining documentation standards;
