Senior PHP Developer

We are now looking to extend the team with a Senior PHP Developer that can help us continue what we started.

Your skills

+5 years experience with application design & development; having worked in building or maintaining microservices it’s an advantage.
Solid knowledge of software engineering principles (OOP, SOLID, Design Patterns, Agile best practice);
Good knowledge of MVC architecture is mandatory;
Extensive work experience with one of the following frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Lumen, CakePHP or Zend;
Solid knowledge of PHPUnit;
Strong knowledge of the Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (preferably with Azure DevOps) ;
Proficiency designing and building REST APIs using PHP;
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.)
Good understanding of AWS, especially in working with Kubernetes;
Experience working with version control systems (Git);
Basic knowledge of system administration and software configuration;
Full awareness of security, performance optimization in web development;
Fluent in English – verbal and written communications;
Ability to work with an international team of professionals;
Knowledge of SPA or BFF design patterns.

Familiarity with Agile development and tools (such as TFS or Jira);

Vue.JS knowledge;

Knowledge of Azure Cloud or Google Cloud;

Familiarity with Twilio Services;

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Write reusable, testable and efficient code;
Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications;
Implement development best practices and participate in code reviews;
Contribute to architecture reviews and decisions;
Innovate and implement new ideas without disrupting product delivery;
Write technical documentation for new or existing features.
